1. Who we are

2. Using this website

By browsing or ordering on this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to place an order.

3. Products and prices

We make our products in small batches on the farm. Photos are a guide, and colour and texture can vary slightly from batch to batch. All prices are in South African rand (ZAR) and include VAT where VAT applies. Shipping is a separate flat fee of R69.00 per order, shown before you pay. We may correct pricing or description errors, and if we do, we will contact you before dispatching your order.

4. Ordering and payment

Your order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when your payment is confirmed and we send you an order confirmation or dispatch notice. Payment is processed securely by Yoco. We never see or store your card or bank details. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is out of stock or we suspect fraud, and if so we will refund you in full.

5. Delivery, cancellations and refunds

These are set out in our Delivery policy, Cancellation policy and Refund policy, which form part of these terms.

6. Product use and safety

Our leather polish and skin butter are natural products made with ingredients such as goat tallow, beeswax and plant oils. Do a small patch test before first use, stop using a product if it irritates your skin, and test the polish on a hidden area of the leather first. Dog products are for dogs only, should be fed as treats and not as a complete diet, and should be given under supervision. Keep all products out of reach of small children. Nothing on this website is medical or veterinary advice.

7. Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, including your right to goods that are of good quality and free of defects.

8. Our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or products. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. This does not limit any liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Intellectual property

The text, photos, product names, logo and the Hendrietta character on this website belong to Beginweer. Please do not copy or reuse them without our written permission. Hendrietta is an AI-generated character. The farm, the animals and the products are real.

10. Privacy

How we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy policy.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when you place your order apply to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
